In my last post, I was looking for real life example of blogs used in schools by students or teachers - but especially by students.  As they come in, I will add them to this post.  Please feel free to send me any examples you know of.  You can either leave a comment, or email me at jhenry@gananda.org

  This is David Warlick's site.  You will find examples of teachers at all levels using podcasting to enhance teaching and learning.

  A great book blog written by students and administered by the librarian.  I LOVE this title.
• Library Student Worker Website
  My library skills students participate in a discussion list hosted by our server. It has been slow going to get them to post-especially to respond to each other, but we have been at it for 2 quarters now and I consider it a marked improvement from messy, hurried journal entries that had little
  connection to the library.  I give extra credit for starting a thread and I tally posts.  I also plan to have the students grade each other by using a rubric for scoring posts.  (I am putting that together on Thursday, I hope.)  I give them 1 point per tally.  The highest number of posts is the grade standard.
